Lake Kayindy (Kaindy) is located in Kazakhstan, on the northern slope of the Kungei-Alatau Ridge (east of the Chiliko-Keminsky lintel) and belongs to the Chilik River. Along with the Greater Almaty, Jasil-Kol, Kolsai, it is considered one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Northern Tien Shan. Lake Kayyndy is located in a picturesque wooded zone, at an altitude of about 1900 meters above sea level. Now the length of Lake Kaiynda is 400 meters, and the depth is 25 meters. Until the village of the 1980s, it was deeper - up to 40 meters.
